Danny

Danny Williams is Megan's rambunctious, redheaded brother. He is fond of jokes, although never with the intention of hurting anyone. He sometimes feuds with his younger sister Molly, but always sticks up for her and Megan in the crunch. He can be reckless, and does not hesitate to take charge when a desperate situation gets worse.

He first came to Ponyland when the ponies needed Megan's help to defeat The Smooze.

He became best friends with Spike and Surprise.

Appearance[]

He has orange auburn hair and he wears a hat.

Personality[]

He is sometimes fond of jokes although he doesn't usually do them to hurt someone's feelings. He is rambunctious and reckless, but kind and helpful.

Resourceful, stalwart, and brave, Danny often served the role of an organizer when his friends were in danger. He was more technically minded than Megan or Molly, typically using technology such as a Tape Recorder to save the day. In addition to his technical prowess, Danny was a prodigious engineer, capable of crafting rather complicated machines and traps from wood, rope and everyday objects like kitchenware and buckets.

Danny Although he could be rude and fiery, he had a truly gentle heart and rarely hesitated to help those in need, especially his friends. He was very trusting of others, but also took betrayal very hard, growing extremely angry and sad when he believed Drog betrayed him.

He was very adventurous and would often aid his friends on dangerous quests, such as when he helped Spike find his true parents. Danny didn't take defeat very well and would sometimes sulk upon capture, while Megan or his other friends would actively find solutions to their problems. Nonetheless, once a solution was spotted, Danny wouldn't rest until it was fulfilled.

Trivia[]

  • He was voiced by Scott Menville.
  • In the My Little Pony Annual 2013 comic story The Fall of Sunset Shimmer, Danny's name (and also Megan and Molly's) appeared in a flier for the Canterlot High Sundance. He's apparently a teacher who, along with Megan and Molly, handles submissions for the Yearbook in Room E.
