Pony Puppy is the sixth story arc of Season One of My Little Pony 'n Friends.
Synopsis[]
As the ponies prepare for fall, several of the Baby Ponies cross a stream, only for Baby Tiddly Winks to fall in. She is unexpectedly saved by a massive puppy, whom the ponies dub Dinah due to her dinosaur-like stature. Taking her home to Paradise Estate, the Baby Ponies plead with the adults to let them keep her. Though somewhat reluctant, Dinah's obvious need for care moves them to accept the large canine.
Dinah proves to be a source of mixed emotions: though affectionate and helpful, her massive size and appetite cause problems. Many of the ponies lament the decision to take her in, but having accepted her feel unable to turn her away. Following the winter, Dinah has grown to her adult size, when a pack of her fellow dogs appear, having been separated from her previously. Realizing that Dinah belongs with her own kind, the ponies bid her a tearful farewell.
